Altrincham Market House is a communal food hall on Greenwood Street. Its independent traders include Honest Crust, Tender Cow, Eat Picos, Rubens Mezze Grill and Great North Pie Co, alongside drinks, coffee and chocolate traders. Customers order from individual counters and use shared tables. The Market House does not take table reservations.

The first stop for many visitors to Altrincham, and arguably the engine behind the town's modern-day renaissance. Market House has inspired countless food halls elsewhere, but few can match its atmosphere, whatever the time of day. Start with a Blackjack beer or a glass of 'Mystery' wine from Reserve Wines, then take your pick from an array of excellent traders, including proper pies at Great North Pie Co, mouthwatering flat iron steak at Tender Cow and something gloriously chocolatey from Sam Joseph to finish.
