Mouro Coffee Bar & Roasters opened at 8–10 Oxford Road in Altrincham in August 2025. Its design-led café combines speciality coffee and in-house roasting, serving the house blend and rotating single-origin coffees, as well as matcha, chai, bakes and focaccia sandwiches. Retail beans can be ground for customers to brew at home.
The Altrincham.co.uk verdict
One of the best-located cafés in Altrincham, Mouro sits directly opposite Market House and is busy for much of the day, both inside and out. It's a Wi-Fi-free zone, but that clearly hasn't put anyone off. The coffee is excellent, the focaccia sandwiches are a great lunchtime option, and there's now a second, smaller Mouro outpost on Oxford Road, on the other side of town.
