The Altrincham.co.uk verdict

Housed in the former Altrincham Conservative Working Men's Club, this handsome Italianate building dates back to 1887 and has been at the heart of the town's revival since reopening in 2016. You're pretty much guaranteed a great atmosphere, and it's a particularly good alternative to Market House if you're out with a bigger group and fancy something a little less frenetic.
